Moonman artist strikes again
Bristol artist pulls of huge climate mural on the side of iconic Tobacco factory in latest stunt
William Peterson
A Bristol based graffiti artist has continued his controversial campaign of putting up huge, eye-catching art on the side of some of the City's most famous buildings.

The artist Moonman 158, perhaps Bristol's best known export since Banksy, has over recent months carried out a slew of major pieces which have gained international recognition beyond the city thanks to the artists huge social media following and cult status.

The art is controversial because it carries ambiguous messages about both the nature of protest and the artist's views on the future of the planet.

The identity of the artist has been widely speculated on, with many saying that the style and ambition of the pieces means they could be Banksy himself in another guise.

A number of other artist have come forward to claim the pieces, but none have been officially verified by the artist's Instagram account.
